In regions troubled with violence, teachers can transform feelings of anger and hatred into love and joy, but need government support, Hanan Al-Hroub, recipient of the Global Teacher Prize Award in 2016, told delegates during Day 1 of the 2017 World Government Summit.

She added: “It’s a social responsibility to define the quality of future generations and we need the governments to adopt ‘play and learn’ as a policy.”
