This came during his speech at the World Government Summit Dialogue, which was organized yesterday at the Museum of the Future in Dubai, during which the most prominent developments of the summit and the themes of its eighth session, organized at the Dubai Exhibition Center at Expo 2020 Dubai, on March 29 and 30, were reviewed. Al Gergawi said that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, since the first summit, defined the basic objectives of government work, and the role of governments in serving people. These principles were the basis for anticipating, inspiring and empowering future governments, noting that the summit supported the development of exceptional ideas such as the launch of the Museum of the Future. , which anticipates the services of the future and human life in the ignorant world.

He added that the summit, which has carried from its beginnings the slogan “Foresight of Future Governments”, which will soon complete its first decade, has become a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences, sharing knowledge and inspiring success stories, and transferring them to an advanced stage of empowerment, application and spread. Al Gergawi said that the summit presented six visions that contributed to enhancing our readiness for the future. Al Gergawi stressed that the positive impact of the World Government Summit was not limited to the UAE, but extended to cover many of the challenges it foresaw through more than 1,100 sessions organized over seven sessions.

He said that the third challenge foreseen by the summit was to enhance cybersecurity, protect digital systems, and develop digital infrastructure for future governments, and that the summit witnessed the announcement of the creation of a ministerial position concerned with advanced technology.
