Global Dialogue for Happiness and Wellbeing

Global Dialogue for Happiness and Wellbeing
Ever so rapidly, the happiness and wellbeing of both individuals and nations are becoming a growing global priority. The third edition of the Global Dialogue for Happiness and Wellbeing will explore the interdependent roles of governments and people in enhancing the state of wellbeing through discussions on governance and policies, practical applications in cities, and the behaviors and choices that ultimately shape our lifestyles. The dialogue will seek to tackle pressing questions about governments’ efforts to create policies and regulations that ensure social happiness and wellbeing, and explore how cities are harnessing technology to enhance happiness.

Across two days within the World Government Summit, international leading experts, academics, government officials, and representatives of international organizations will convene under one roof to bridge the gap between research and policy. The Global Dialogue for Happiness and Wellbeing will highlight the symbiotic relationship between governments, cities, and people in shaping the future of happiness and wellbeing through a series of sessions and workshops.

Global A.I Governance Forum

Global A.I Governance Forum
The World Government Summit will host the second Global A.I. Governance Forum in recognition of the rapidly evolving Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) technology and its implications on humanity. While institutions and government entities are seeking to address the challenges and opportunities that A.I. brings, there is a general lack of cohesion and understanding of that domain. In order to advance its safe evolution and impact, the UAE is aiming to create an aligned Global Strategy for the Governance for A.I. The aim of the Roundtable is to facilitate dynamic policy recommendations and create a roadmap for all nations to adopt. This year we are gathering over 50 of the world’s foremost thinkers, leaders and practitioners of A.I. in one room – to contemplate and develop ways to help guide us shape the future of society.

Government Services Forum

Government Services Forum
Today, people across the globe are communicating and moving at a faster pace, and as such, expectations of service delivery and experience are on the rise. From work styles to urban services, digital technologies have now created a new era of citizen behavior. This shift in expectations and behavior has now brought new challenges and demands for all organizations – including governments. With this new generation of citizens, delivering high quality government services has become a new challenge and target for governments around the world.

Launched by the Emirates Government Service Excellence Program, the inaugural Government Services Forum will convene senior leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss how governments today are reshaping service delivery and the expected future of government services. The closed forum will dive into an array of topics, including changing citizen expectations and their impact on government services; how governments around the world are meeting these expectations and delivering exceptional service experiences; and how government services may evolve over the next 20 years. The forum will also aim to continue the discourse through the formation of a community focused on shaping the global agenda of government services.
