Dan received her PhD degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2018. Her PhD research focused on designing and optimizing energy storage systems using thin film process technology. Before undertaking her doctoral studies, she worked at the Chinese Academy of Science where she developed novel semiconductor materials for solar cell applications. Dan joined ObEN in May 2018, and has since been leveraging her multidisciplinary background to build solutions with the PAI Blockchain for industries including artificial intelligence, health care and the Internet of Things (IoT)
