In her keynote address, UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell will draw attention to the compounding impact of increased conflict, climate change, and the COVID-19 pandemic on children and their families. She will emphasize the critical importance of investing in essential systems and proven interventions to support children's health, wellbeing, education, and protection. Executive Russell will also emphasize the need for an inclusive recovery, arguing that the only way to build resilient societies is to invest in children's resilience, putting the most disadvantaged children at the center of the development agenda.
