The global community needs to look for ways to put the power sector on a path to sustainable performance and improved service delivery. The GCC countries are already investing in hydrogen to help move the industry down the cost curve. This initiatives have the potential to make MENA a renewable energy powerhouse. Through regional cooperation on energy, the GCC countries can lead the rest of the MENA region in this transition.
