H.E. Bahah is a Yemeni politician and diplomat who has been Prime Minister of Yemen since 2014, as well as Vice President of Yemen since 2015.
He served as Yemen’s Permanent Representative to the UN in New York for a short period of time in 2014, before he was designated Prime Minister in October 2014.
Earlier in 2014, he served as Minister of Oil and Minerals after six years as Yemen's Ambassador to Canada.

His leadership roles included Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Yemen Liquefied Natural Gas Project with investments of over $ 4 Billion US, the Safer Exploration and Production Petroleum Company and the Yemen General 
Oil and Gas Corporation.

He is a Board Member for the General Investment Authority, the Higher Council of Economic and Oil Affairs and the Export Committee.

Mr. Bahah holds a Masters of Commerce in Administration, Banking and Finance from Pune University, India, 1992 as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Advanced Accounting and Auditing from the same University in 1990.
