The World Government Summit, in partnership with Forbes, will this year host the “Forbes Under 30” Forum.

“For the past ten years and more, the Forbes Under 30 list has defined our leading changemakers, innovators and young talents in key sectors and industries globally,” said Mohamad Al Gergawi, Chairman of the World Government Summit. “Now the World Government Summit is bringing those leaders to Dubai to take part in the Forbes Under 30 Forum, an opportunity to come together and define new futures and new approaches to our human challenges.”

The Forbes Under 30 list spotlights top global young leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry figures under the age of 30 in 20 categories. Each year, over 15,000 people are nominated for the award. The Under 30 list is a 365-day global platform elevated by live summits in the U.S., Asia, Europe and the Middle East, a robust community on social, and supported by major brand marketers, who tap into its power to fuel their own business.

The WGS Forbes Under 30 Forum will bring some of the most prominent and successful of those leaders to Dubai, when 30 global young leaders will travel to the World Government Summit and take part in the one-day Forum as well as in other World Government Summit events.

“The Under 30 community is an economic engine of entrepreneurship around the world and a barometer of up-and-coming talent,” said Randall Lane, Forbes’ Chief Content Officer and progenitor of the Under 30 movement. “Today’s young entrepreneurs are as enterprising as ever, committed to solving the world’s problems and designing a way forward that benefits us all. The Forbes Under 30 Forum will connect Under 30 changemakers with government leaders from around the world to foster conversations to drive change, transform business and make a significant impact on the world.”

The World Government Summit is to see over 4,000 delegates from around the world, representing over 190 countries. With 110 sessions and workshops, the Summit brings together over 500 speakers and encompasses over 15 global forums. As a global platform dedicated to shaping the future of governments worldwide, the Summit sets the agenda for the next generation of governments harnessing innovation and technology to solve universal challenges facing humanity.

Taking place at Expo 2020, the World Government Summit this year takes place under the theme, ‘Shaping Future Government’, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities afforded by our global future, including shaping policies that drive progress and Government development; designing the future of healthcare systems; actioning sustainability for positive impact; accelerating the global economic recovery; exploring next frontiers; building the cities of the future; enabling the future of education and work and empowering societal resilience.

A knowledge hub at the intersection of government, futurism, technology, and innovation, the Summit functions as a thought leadership and platform for policymakers, experts and pioneers in human development.
