A closed roundtable discussion, moderated by MasterCard, titled “Designing the Digital Economies and Smart Cities of Tomorrow”. Digital payments have led to the creation of a cash free, more efficient and inclusive economy, enabling economic growth and development, as well as delivering a seamless enhanced customers experience. As a leader in the space, Mastercard will be moderating a discussion around the challenges, opportunities and key success factors that help countries enable a digital economy and achieve their digital smart cities ambitions. The roundtable will be attended by a diverse audience, inclusive of government officials, SMEs, development organizations, and policy makers. Participants will be sharing experiences, inclusive of key challenges faced, as well as success stories and best practices, with strategic recommendations.
