The strategic lead for Costa Rica’s ‘The Green Hub’, Felipe Carazo Ortiz argues that this is simply because “there’s no need for it”. The small country has established itself as a pioneer of sustainability and green initiatives and seeks to further expand. It has become a way of life for residents, with investment in sustainable energy sources, including wind turbines and solar power, expanding its forestation, and investing in green innovations. Ortiz says that it has become ingrained in the nation as a whole.
