Why Do Governments Fail?

Brief

Why do some states enjoy wealth, security, health and nutrition while others face poverty, unemployment, lack of health care and safety? Could geography, weather or culture make the difference in the success of a government? Or could the lack of capabilities and human capital lead to government failure? In this session, we explore the factors leading to state failure and how governments can become successful.
